District 1F's Only Leo Club Charter
Induction Ceremony held on November 8th, 2009

The Elk Grove Village Leo Club's first community service activity was organizing a dog and cat food drive. All pet food and other pet essentials were collected to help families whose finacial situations often require that thay give up the family pet first.

This effort allowed  many to keep their beloved family pets.

Fundraisers

Between August 9-14 the Elk Grove Leo club held a collection for Swaziland.Swaziland is a poverty ridden kingdom in Africa. They collected 75 bags filled with items such as cloths, towels, shoes, school supplies,toiletries...

The Elk Grove Lions help the Leo's get these items to the Grant Township Lions club who work with the Luke Commission to bring these desperately needed items to Swaziland.

Currently the Elk Grove Leo Club is selling 2011 Entertainment Books and October 1-31 the Leo Club is holding a pet food and supply drive to benefit Almost Home Foundation animal rescue. Collection sights include Elk Grove Library, Elk Grove High School, Elk Grove Village Hall,Elk Grove Gymnastics,Arlington Heights Animal hospital and The Academy of Dog and Cat Grooming Arts. While any donation is appreciated they are in urgent need of cat food and supplies.

While the Elk Grove Leo Club and Almost Home are grateful for all donations most needed at this time are cat food and supplies.

Contact Leo Club Advisor Lioness Beth Kaim 847-758-0034 to purchase items or for more information about the above fundraising activities.
